This series is about access denied. Fences are meant to keep people on one side of something for different reasons. Bluntly said, I was looking for shots that can serve as an allegory about how Berlin is also a city that withholds access. And I don't think I was successful at that, but there is a strange tension in looking at a fence and what is behind it.
